INTEGRASYS is delighted to announce its new membership in the Waveform Architecture for Virtualized Ecosystems (WAVE) Consortium, marking another strategic milestone in its mission to advance open, interoperable, and virtualized satellite communications (SATCOM). Formed under the auspices of IEEE-ISTO, WAVE brings together leading companies, government agencies, and research institutions to develop standardized architectures and specifications that shape the future of the SATCOM industry.

By joining WAVE, INTEGRASYS will enable its cutting-edge portfolio—ranging from defense technologies and network automation tools to R&D projects in electronic warfare and signal monitoring—to reach wider markets. INTEGRASYS’ expertise will further drive WAVE’s vision of deploying waveforms across heterogeneous, multi-vendor environments. Their deep background in interference management, from advanced monitoring to cybersecurity, positions the company well to help accelerate virtualization and unlock broader market opportunities.

“We are excited to have INTEGRASYS be part of WAVE. They have some awesome technology that, when deployed in a WAVE environment, will have access to much larger markets and gain wider potential for global adoption,” said Dr. Juan Deaton, Executive Director of the WAVE Consortium. “Their applications in interference mitigation are extremely exciting for the space and defense sector. We look forward to seeing how INTEGRASYS will help drive WAVE into future success.”

Bolstering Innovation with INTEGRASYS’ Industry-Leading Portfolio

Founded with a focus on software development and engineering for the satellite domain, INTEGRASYS has built a reputation for innovation in both commercial and defense sectors. Among their key solutions:

  • VirSat: A multi-vendor DIFI (Digital Intermediate Frequency Interoperability) signal monitoring system operating in the cloud, showcasing Integrasys’s commitment to open standards and flexible architectures.
  • LPXTT&C: A TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking, and Control) modem designed to provide maximum discretion with a low RF footprint—minimizing the probability of detection or geolocation and proving versatile for both onboard satellite systems and virtualized ground installations.
  • LEOREG: A solution tailored for Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO), and Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) satellite monitoring, addressing the burgeoning LEO market and regulatory complexities.
  • SpaceMaster: An advanced optical space situational awareness tool, combining optical sensors with AI to characterize space objects, offering a fresh perspective on orbital tracking and collision avoidance.
  • Jam CCS: A digital twin designed to simulate and test modern jamming scenarios, providing valuable electronic warfare insights for battlefield readiness and threat mitigation.

INTEGRASYS works with major industry partners—such as Network Innovations, Artel, Terran Orbital, Hughes, Arabsat, and Thaicom—to deliver network automation solutions that simplify the operational landscape, all while focusing on research and development in new or evolving areas of SATCOM. Through active memberships in organizations like AFA, DIFI, AFCEA, and GSOA, the company remains at the forefront of industry dialogue.

“We are excited to join WAVE on its journey and see it as a critical enabler for us to reach wider markets with our products,” said Álvaro Sánchez, CEO of INTEGRASYS. “By breaking barriers in virtualization and interoperability, we can open new doors for our innovations. Our technology, combined with WAVE enabling wider market reach, will allow us to push the limits of what’s possible in satellite and defense. We can’t wait to show the world how interference mitigation and network automation can shape tomorrow’s communications.”

Aligning with WAVE’s Core Objectives

WAVE was founded to ensure that next-generation SATCOM networks can utilize off-the-shelf hardware and modern software to achieve agility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. By standardizing platforms for virtualized waveforms, WAVE enables companies like INTEGRASYS to deploy innovative solutions across commercial and defense sectors on a larger scale. The inclusion of INTEGRASYS as a WAVE member will enhance defense readiness by allowing its electronic warfare expertise and jamming mitigation technologies—integrated through WAVE’s open frameworks—to reach a broader defense customer base, and it will also expand interference management worldwide by leveraging WAVE standards to deploy INTEGRASYS’ signal monitoring and interference detection capabilities within fully interoperable, multi-vendor environments.
